The book consists of five chapters with various subtitles, whose contents are extracted from some of the most reliable academic sources. In the first chapter, general issues related to law and legal studies are discussed. This chapter will prepare the readers to grasp the nature of law and its objectives. Meanwhile, it discusses different legal systems with a comparative approach. The first chapter ends with a section discussing techniques for a professional legal translation. The second chapter is designed to introduce main subbranches of private law.
